I honestly didn’t know much about this series when I started reading the book. I found the premise of the book super interesting and what Asimov was trying to achieve was immense. I also really enjoyed the writing style. As this was a short book that spanned a huge time period (and also technically 5 short stories), I felt that the characters in the stories were quite shallow and a bit underdeveloped (which was probably the point). This made it kind of difficult to get into the book for me. The premise was interesting enough for me to keep reading and I am curious to see where the series goes next.

QOTD: Have you read this series or any of Asimov’s work?
